That isn't what I said ... I said they will NOT INVEST MORE THAN. I didn't say IBM wasn't milking it for everything they could get. But a heavy dose of reality is required. Informix will, in the future, not support eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, JD Edwards, etc. due to decisions made by IBM that favour DB2. How long do you think the folks here at c.d.informix are going to stand around the IBM flagpole when they finally realize IBM is saying the right thing and killing their product? Your apportionment of blame is something of a moot point though. I think that IBM would *like* all these vendors to support Informix, but they, not IBM, have made the decision to discontinue support for Informix. You might argue that this is a result of IBM's lack of public support for Informix of course ... Whoever's fault it is, I agree with you 101% that the loss of TPV support for Informix will dramatically hasten its demise.
