Re: SIN,COS,ACOS,log and e^x functions?

Yes. They're called SIN, COS, ACOS, LOGN or LOG10 and EXP. RTM: Informix Guide to SQL: Syntax Version 6.0 or later. Not in the Dec 1991 Informix Guide to SQL: Reference (the 5.0 equivalent), nor earlier versions. The functionality was present in 5.0, but not documented, I believe. It was probably not present in 4.1x. Algebraic Functions: ABS(x) MOD(dividend, divisor) POW(base, exponent) ROOT(radicand [, index]) -- defaults to 2 (SQRT) ROUND(expr [, factor]) -- defaults to 0 (integer) SQRT(expr) TRUNC(expr [, factor]) -- defaults to 0 (integer) EXP(expr) LOGN(expr) LOG10(expr) COS(radians) SIN(radians) TAN(radians) ASIN(value) ACOS(value) ATAN(value) ATAN2(numerator, denominator) Yours, Jonathan Leffler (johnl@informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> >From: Michael Pusateri <mike_pusateri@pagenet.com> >Date: 1 Aug 1995 18:45:39 GMT >X-Informix-List-Id: <news.15910> > >Are there functions in Informix that allow the SIN, COS, and ACOS functions? > >Mike Pusateri >mike_pusateri@pagenet.com
