Hi folks, I just migrate an Informix 7.3 to Informix 11.10, and with the correct adjusts in the configuration parameters the transactions time decrease in 60%. I am testing Cheetah 2 (11.50) and I believe that the better new features are the MACH 11 enhancements, and how to manage data in XML. I am a Informix Dinosaur, expert in Performance and Tuning and a C/C++ developer, design and implementing critical solutions in high performance and high availability, and in my tests, Cheetah is the best data base product since the oldest Informix Universal Server (anyone remember?).
