Cannot drop or select database

Hi everyone,
I got a HPUX B.11.11 with IDS 10.00.FC5X5. A little time ago I had FC4 and
needed to upgrade release. The first thing that happenned: I tried to make a
dbexport / dbimport process but when I tried to drop database to execute
dbimport, the follow massage apears:
Running . . .SENDER IS NULL NO MAIL WILL BE SENT
SENDER IS NULL NO MAIL WILL BE SENT
215: Cannot open file for table (sup_resp_libr_erro).12: Not enough core
I "initialized" the server again and the same message occurs but now, I can
even select any database from my instance.
Anybody?
Thanks
André Luiz

12 isn't an IDS error but an OS errno it received that the engine is passing
through back to you. The actual message for errno 12 is: Not enough space
Looks like the filesystem onto which you want to put the export is full or too
small.

Hi,
12: Not enough core
is an O/S errno 12 (ENOMEM), in this case, coming from HP-UX. You can confirm
by taking a look at /urs/include/sys/errno.h file.
This error means that the server ran into insufficient memory/stack/swap space
to run processes.
Hopefully you only need to do some tuning of the HP-UX kernel parameters
related to memory and stack, and processes, such as: maxtsiz, maxdsiz,
maxssiz, shmmax, shmmni and shmseg, and also you'd like to check the swap
space available in the server.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Veronica.
