Does any know if a statement like
SELECT * FROM world
WHERE 0 = 1;
Actually "physically" do a sequential scan? Or is
the
engine smart enough to not even bother?
I've already done a SET EXPLAIN ON, and it appears
that
it does.
If nobody knows the answer to this, then can
someone
who has a very large table (ie. several million
rows)
try it out and share your findings?
