Resizing chunks

Ok I have 6 chunks on a system that use only 25% of an available disk partition. I want to resize to use all of the disk partition Can I do this without interrupting the data. Note: each disk partition is only being used once at the moment. OR do I have to backup, delete, recreate and then restore?
