Version 5.01 runs on top of WINSOCK 1.1, so you can run it with any TCP/IP implementation that provides a WINSOCK.DLL. I-Net/PC 4.1 can run on top of: Sun PC/NFS 3.5 FTP Software PC/TCP 2.05 Wollong PathWay Access 2.0 AT&T StarGROUP 3.4 Novell LanWorkplace for DOS 4.0 (special version from SNI) This is what the 4.1 manual says. Newer versions should be ok in many cases, e.g. we were running it over PC/TCP 2.11 and 2.2 on one machine, and over Lan Workplace 4.1 on some others. We are presently switching to 5.01 due to better windows support and less conventional DOS memory requirement. : Is it worth installing I-Net with a stack not in this list? How should I know? You can always try, but don't complain if it doesn't work.
