Informix IDS Workgroup Install Fails

I'm trying to install the client IDS workgroup to provide access to the Informix V2.8 32-bit ODBC driver on an NT workstation, V4.0 build 1381 service pack 4. Just as the install shield displays the message that it is updating the registry, I get a memory dump. This installation worked fine on other PCs at our site. The only difference with this PC is that it has an APPIAN Geronimo video card, to allow it to drive two monitors, effectively giving the user a two monitor-wide screen. Has anyone had any trouble loading the Informix IDS software on an NT client? It looks like my next step is to probably get a standard video card in there. Any help would be appreciated.
