Vers 7.24UC5 and 7.30UC3 do not have this problem and 7.3 adds the ability to automatically fragment temp tables and sort-work files across your eleven tempspaces so you do not even have to worry, as you do in 7.2x, that a single temp table or sort file will need more than 4GB you'll have 44GB of temp space available to ANY query and for archives.
