RE: How to move a table(s) + index(s) to a new dbspace

Susan,
Presuming that you're doing this during some form of system outage, (ie
no users on the system trying to access this data), I would suggest:
1. Drop the indexes.
2. Move the tables using
ALTER FRAGMENT ON TABLE table_name
INIT IN archive_dbspace; Which effectively just moves the data from one dbspace to another.
3. Rebuild the indexes (and statistics)
Whilst you can do it, I usually find it's more efficient to drop and
recreate the indexes than to try and move them.
