In 4.1 (presumably the same in 5.0) it's almost impossible without getting really ugly. What I do is: Every morning cron runs a script at 2:00 am that puts the output of tbcheck -pe in a file. Awk/sed script massages this file data SQL program inserts extent info, dbspace info, and other table info into a database table Various programs report against that table, including table-size reports that list dbspace. In 6.0 they promise that much of this info will be available in real tables. I haven't used it, but the programs are relatively cheap (3-400 dollars) so you may want to give him a call. -- =========================================================================== jlumbley@netcom.com (Joe Lumbley) "If you believe that my statements Database Administrator represent my company, please send The Tigon Corporation money and I'll send you stock" Dallas, Texas ===========================================================================
