Norma, read my notes on setting NETTYPE in the FAQ. The configuration you
have will tend to be responsive to shared memory sessions & new shared
memory connection requests, but will burn CPU cycles and system call
overhead like crazy and be slower to respond to TCP sessions and new TCP
connections under load. You could free up lots of resources and be even
more responsive to both connection types by floowing those recommendations.
