Sounds like the 'color off' attribute is in the space after the border (? dare I assume). Either the color parm string (ZGR?) needs to be changed to reflect this or you might try messing with sg and ms. ms should not be present and sg#1 might help. sg normally refers to smso or rmso but it might be the same. > > Informix products uses CTRL-A to toggle between INSERT and OVERWRITE mode in > its input field. You can't 'undefine' the form editing keysrokes but you can tie them to other keys. Load a function key with the CTRL-A sequence and make that your INSERT key. Same for CTRL-X, CTRL-D etc. cheers j. _____________________________________________________________________________ Jack Parker | Hewlett Packard, BSMC Boise, Idaho, USA| "Someday you'll go far, jparker@hpbs3645.boi.hp.com | if you catch the right train."
