Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Try
echo "select * from a_table" | dbaccess a_database
same deal works with isql.

I am running SE 5.02, 4GL 4.12 on SCO 3.2v4.2
Is there a way to execute sql from the command
line, or a program that you can pass the name of the
database and a .sql file?
TIA
