Can you send a snippet of the ESQL/C code, that is causing the segmentation fault ? What is the typical statement that is causing the segmentation fault ? Thanks and Regards, Abhi. -------------------------------------------------------------------- There are 10 kinds of people,,,,, .... those who understand binary notations, and those who don't. -------------------------------------------------------------------- "\\"Jordan\\" <jordan.bruce" Sent by: owner-informix-list@iiug.org 11/19/2003 10:40 AM Please respond to "\\"Jordan\\" <jordan.bruce"<remove@ace.iiug.org> To: informix-list@iiug.org cc: Subject: Re: Segmentation Faults on LINUX Hi Scott "Scott Burns" <scott@mirrabooka.com> wrote in message news:f1yub.244$hX1.6718@news.optus.net.au... > Jordan > > >When I try to execute an .ec program a segmentation fault immediatly occurs. > >The program compiles sucessfully, but I cannot execute it. This GDB was configured as "i386-redhat-linux-gnu". I could successfully compile, but cannot run (returns segmentation fault). I was able to get around the _ctype_* problem with the help from your last post, but I'm experincing Segmentation faults even if I try to get the version of fglpc (fglpc -V). Should I just give up on RH9, and install Suse 8.0? Or does anyone have any insight on these Seg faults?
