64-bit C-isam

We were once assured by Informix Sweden that there should come an 64-bit C-isam version. Now they say ( in Sweden) that they have never peomized that and that the development of C-isam has stopped. Can any body give us some information on this topic. Is there or will ther be a 64-bit version of C-isam. We will be very grateful for any ( reliable ) informtaion.
