Onunload error

I use Informix 7.31 and SCO 5.0.5. I have done onunload on a HP DLT 35/70 and, because a hardware failure, i must change it for a HP DLT VS80 (it can't select density with a button). But the onunload fails with this error in the syslog: NOTICE: Stp: Error on SCSI tape 0 (ha=1 bus=0 id=6 lun=0) Illegal request: Invalid field in CDB Any suggestions?
