Hello everyone!
My database env:
OS: HP-UX 11.11
IDS: 10.0 FC8
BACKUP soft: EMC networker
This instance run many years, use onbar 0 level backup every day, So the
sysutils database space used % increase every day, and it use rootdbs, can I
transfer it to another dbspaces?
not: I use IDS onsmsync tool to clear the old data, but greater than 3 hours ,
it cannot respons.
Yes ...
Modify the $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sysutils.sql ... in the create database
sysutils ... add the location where you want the database ... then you
can run the script through dbaccess ... This will drop the current
sysutils database, and then create it... Caution, this script will drop
the current sysutils database, so the data will be lost .. if you want the
data you could export the database .. and then import it ... changing the
location on the import ...
