Universal 9.14 crashes on Create Procedure

We have just installed Universal 9.14 on NT to do a few tests. The first task was to move around 1000 procedures from an IDS7.2 on NT to 9.14. Around 200 procedures refuse to move. The Create Procedure statement (from DBAccess or SQL Editor) crashes OnInit instantly, with no diagnostics what-so-ever. The only pattern we can find is if Proc2 calls Proc1, then the Create Procedure Proc2 statement crashes is some cases: Example: ================= Create DBA procedure "cap".proc1 (iString Varchar(30), iLen Smallint, iDec Smallint Default 2, iDirection Char(1) Default 'L', iPadchar Char(1) Default '0', iDecimalPoint VarChar(1) Default '', iSeparator VarChar(1) Default '') Returning varchar (30); Define oString varChar(30); return oString; End Procedure ================= This works OK. But, =============== Create DBA Procedure "cap".proc2() Define fnumber varchar(32); let fnumber = proc1(fnumber[1,7], 0, 7); End Procedure; =============== crashes the server. Removing an optional argument from Proc1 definition stops the crash (any optional argument). Removing the [1,7] from the statement calling proc1 also stops the crash. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks Bashar Chalabi CTL, London.
Even curiouser: when the engine crashes, Proc1 is deleted from the system. On the other hand, if Proc1 does not exists, then the Create Procedure Proc2 statement works fine. Bashar
