Hi, finally my stupid comment... Informix tells you exactly the names of the tables. I assume these are tablespace tablespace entries. But if you want to know the names, check it out by using the sysextents table in your sysmaster database. select dbsname, tabname from sysextents wherehex(start) matches "0x004*" The values "0x004*" means the chunk number three. If you cannot drop the chunk, because it is not empty ( you can try onspaces ), simply ask your technical support to drop the chunk or dbspace for you. Bye Stefan Weideneder
