GOOD PRATICES INSTALLING IDS ON VMWARE

Hi all Does it still a good pratice to use RAW devices/Raw spaces when install Informix IDS on a VMWare environment? Regards PN

To me, best practices is to not use a VMWare or any other virtual environment, but if you must, I would recommend not using raw disk. VMs handle filesystems better than RAW in my experience.
