NT to Solaris via ODBC

Hi Folks -- I want to configure my PC running NT 4.0 to reach, via ODBC, an Informix 7.24.UC2 server on Sun Solaris 2.5.1 . I've run into two problems; perhaps someone has done this and could help me out. 1. The release notes say the Sun Informix server only supports TLI for TCP (ontlitcp), but the NT ODBC drivers I downloaded from the Informix site only supports sockets (onsoctcp). 2. When I set up Informix to use TLI (I use the DBSERVERALIASES variable in onconfig to point to the new sqlhosts entry), the server occasionally crashes with an assert failure. I figure there must be quite a few sites running PC clients to Sun servers via ODBC, so there's got to be a way to get this to work. I've got a call into Informix support, but progress is slow.
