Can you telnet from the client machine to the listening port of the server?
telnet fedora1 1527
If it connects you know the client can see the listening port which
implies a problem with the demo application or configuration. If it
doesn't connect it implies there is a problem with a firewall or
something else that is preventing the connection between the two
machines at that port.
