I purchased a copy of Wingz intended for SCO UNIX running ODT X11. I am running DELL UNIX System V R4 on an i486-50 with the Motif window manager and hoped it would work since no operating system modification are required. It doesn't :-( When Wingz is started I get the following: libsocket: open(/dev/socksys) no such file or directory libsocket: open(/dev/socksys) no such file or directory libsocket: open(/dev/socksys) no such file or directory libsocket: open(/dev/socksys) no such file or directory Fatal Xt: Can't Open display What is the socket /dev/socksys on a SCO box? Why can't I open the display? Does anyone have any ideas? Kelly kelly@ee.byu.edu
