Trying to Install Informix Database on Sparc5 Running Solaris

Pardon this question if you feel that it is more appropriate to the UNIX
newsgroups.
I am trying to install an Informix database as a part of a netscape
Certificate server on a Sparc 5 running Solaris 2.5.1. This machine has
160 Mbytes of memory and 340 M of swap space. Anyway, in the install
instructions, I was told to add some settings to our /etc/system file.
I added these settings (mostly to do with shared memory) and rebooted.
After installing, when I try to start the database, I get the folllowing
error:
oninit: Fatal error in shared memory creation
is there something I'm missing in terms of getting the new settings in
/etc/system to take effect? Here is a copy of the settings I put into
/etc/system:
* Settings required by Informix database for the Netscape Certificate
server
set enable_sm_wa = 1
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmax=16777216
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmin=100
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmni=100
set shmsys:shminfo_shmseg=100
set semsys:seminfo_semmap=64
set semsys:seminfo_semmni=4096
set semsys:seminfo_semmns=4096
set semsys:seminfo_semmnu=4096
set semsys:seminfo_semume=64
Any help is appreciated
