Hi, I don't think there is an turn-key solution to this problem. However, I have written an app that you might find useful. It is called WinSQL. It uses ODBC to connect to different database and you can export data from one source to another. In your case, you can run a select statement in Informix and export the result set into a new or an existing table in SQL Server.
