The user part of the nettype parameter, for most protocols, is for an
initial allocation
of resources that will grow dynamically, but for shared memory this is a
fix
allocation of resources. You are probably running out of shared memory
connections.
To determine how many shared memory connections are currently being used
try
the following:
onstat -g ntu | grep ipcshm | grep -c sqlexec
