You need to upgrade off of HP-UX 10.10. Go to 10.20 at least. When my client did this, all of our performance and reliabilty problems went away. Actually, the entire system was in the toilet and we did a 10.10 --> 10.20 and a 7.13 --> 7.22 Informix upgrade. We did the OS upgrade first, and it cured most of the problems we'd been having without even touching the Informix version. HP-UX 10.10 is absolute crap.
