I checked these scripts under HP-UX 10.10/IDS 7.20UC2:
a.sql:
create table a(b char(10));!dbaccess vf b
drop table a;
b.sql:
select * from a;
After I run 'dbaccess vf a.sql', I got following output:
Database selected.
Table created.
Database selected.
b
No rows found.
Database closed.
Table dropped.
Database closed.
Your problem is, that you are open a new session with '!'. If you use
temp tables, then you can't refere to a table created in a.sql.
