Re: deadlock: logical log full
Posted in 1998
Hi Greg,
hi Andrew,
thanks for your help.
onmonitor seems to be an UNIX Informix Command, it doesn't work on Informix
on NT.
The log tape device is set to hard disk.
The system is not able to make an ontape -a --> Error: backup failed
I tryed to set the log Tape device (ONCONFIG) to NUL, -->error: it's not
allowed to have NUL for the log tape device
How can I see if a long transaction has accured?
If I delete the DBspace, will the log file than be freed???
(I have the chance to make a dbimport of my Database)
Thanks for helping,
Heike
