Interval / Datetime Grief
How do I make this work? Page 3-21 of my SQL reference manual (12/92)
says this is a valid operation:
create procedure test()
define first like sample.timestamp; {year to second}
define last like sample.timestamp; {year to second}
define howlong interval day to second;
trace on;
select min(timestamp) into first from sample;
select max(timestamp) into last from sample;
let howlong = last - first;
end procedure {test} with listing in "warn.test";
set debug file to "debug.test";
execute procedure test();# ^
# 1268: Invalid datetime or interval qualifier.

I have tried various possibilities to provide an acceptable
"datetime or interval qualifier" to no avail.
I'm running Online 5.0 on an HP9000/700.
