Reverse Issue with AIX

Hey gurus- Can any of you AIX literates help with this? I'm limited in knowledge to HP. Thanks! Thank You, Peter Under HP-UX when you leave the form as default and use the ATTRIBUTE statement the fields are displayed to what the attribute says until you set them otherwise. Under AIX, the form appears to override the precendent that the program should have over the form and once you enter the INPUT statement the form overrides the displays. Here are two examples of the problem: Under AIX, when a program attempts to control the display (using the ATTRIBUTE statement) within an INPUT statement to be REVERSE or BOLD depending on conditions it fails and the form's defined display takes over. Basically, if you have an input statement and wish for a display to be bold but leave the form as default when the programs enters the input statement the reverse will disappear and the form's default will take over and cause the screen to be normal and not bold. A second way of looking at this problem is that if you secify the display to be bold in the BEFORE FIELD and at some point CONTINUE INPUT, which takes you back to the field but skips the before field logic, the form takes over and bold will not be displayed. Therefore, creating a fix of specifying the display in the before field is near impossible.
