Are you adding dynamic memory segments as the system is up?
Run onstat -g seg. If you have many segments of type V when your
system is slow this could be a signifcant part of the problem.

}
} :Our informix server is Online 7.11 UC1 in HP-UX 10.01.

}
} Have you tried setting OPTCOMPIND to 1? The default is 2 I believe. We
} saw some strange behavior when the default was used on our HP 7.12
} system. Tech support responded that our problem was a known bug with
} OPTCOMPIND when set to 2. I'm not saying that your problem is a bug, but it
} might be worth checking into.
}
} Good Luck
