During Snow Leopard certification, it was found that the OS X upgrade
process replaced the informix user and group entries in /etc/passwd
and /etc/group with OS X proprietary entries.
Apple GUI tools start assigning user and group IDs at 500, whereas the
Informix installer starts at 100.
The installers should use a safe range of IDs when creating the
informix user and group.
Workaround is to manually create the informix user and group, then
reinstall the product.
