In my case I had to use two connections one after the other without interaction (i.e. at night, started by NT's at-command). I wrote a little program to update the registry value for INFORMIXSERVER. Its very easy to implement if you know a bit about the Windows API and registry keys. I can send you this program if you like. It runs both under Win95 and NT. Regards, Dirk
