Prior ports of I4GL were done on Solaris 2.4 and were therefore forward compatible with 2.5, 2.5.1 and 2.6. Check with your sales contact (or Tech Support contact) which version of Solaris was used when the 7.20 port was done -- and check the release notes first since they may (should?) tell you. You can readily use the product on the port platform and later versions. Strictly, as David said, you should not try using a product compiled on, for example, Solaris 2.5 on Solaris 2.4. At the very least, if it does not work, you have no recourse to Informix. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
