odbc-source on unix?

Hi Can anyone tell me if there are any default settings-file for odbc-sources. I know that odbc-sources are configured in the file $HOME/.odbc.ini I have 100 users with different $HOME. Its a very dynamic enviroment, new users and new databases. I can solve it by placing a link in everybodys home-library but then I have to create this link every time there is a new user. The optimal would be to have a default-file for everybody.
