In response, After trial and error (more error than trial) we found that our compiled (c-code) application would not work with the 2.11 deployment package. Very fustrated, we called Informix Tech Support and they verified that you need matching run-time and development environments. Hope that answers your query... There might be some way around by strategically replacing certain dll's. I do not know which - also wouldn't recommend from a maintenance standpoint. James Saville
