Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I have a database in which I have granted DBA to Public and some of the
folks that try to connect to the database through ESQL/C get an "IX000"
message that says "Incorrect password or user %s is not known on the
database server."
Can anyone tell me where the source of the problem lies? Is it the UNIX
login username and password that either isn't getting passed to the RDBMS or
is this really a permissions problem with the database?
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Troy Peterson
