Installing Openlink ODBC driver for RS6000

Hi, I have got a problem here. I downloaded the Openlink ODBC driver from Internet(both the server and client component). The host is RS6000 running on AIX OS 3.2.5. The TCP/IP is Wollolong Pathway. The database is Informix SE 6.0. I have installed both the server component (on server) and the client component on the client. When I try to connent to Informix Database from the client using the C++ demo, the client hangs and I have to stop the application. What are the important parameters which must be set on the client so that I can connect to host. Any help would be appreciated.
