Re:Informix Support [Summary]

Extension 911 is the extension at Informix Tech Support, the group at which helps restore 'Production' systems. Case where I have used it when a production system was looping in fast recovery. The group had me sign a non-disclosure agreement (faxes back-n-forth) and remotely signed on to the problem system, twiddled and tweeked few bits/bytes in the shared memory and restored the system. The duration from the first call to the restored system was about 4 hours. But it was well worth it. ======================================================================== Informix-OnLine 4.00.UD5 SCO 3.2 Informix-Isql 4.00 AST 486/33 Informix-Esql/C 4.00 Wingz 1.10 Bharat Shah Voice: (508)-663-7570 Unifi Communications Corp.
