Database Programmer Salary Survey

Awhile ago, a CNE salary survey was done on CompuServe, and I found it quite interesting (I am a CNE as well as a Database Developer). I am curious what various Database Programmers around the world are making -- and I would assume others who (like me) contract program for a living would find this data useful. Therefore, I volunteer to collect this data and distribute it (via a public FTP site, and summary postings here) if you will send it to me. Please send email to dbush@teleport.com with the following information (email addresses will *I promise* be kept confidential -- only summary data will be released publically): 1. position title: (programmer/analyst, etc.) 2. full time/part time/ or contract 3. salary (in monetary units/unit time, ex: $25,000/yr, $25/hour, etc.): 4. language(s) known/used: (i.e. Foxpro, Dbase, Clipper, etc.) 5. operating system(s) developed in: (i.e. os/2, windows, dos, unix, etc.) 6. location of job site (where do you work?) The data will be posted here periodically. If I get a large enough response, I will enter the data into a database and/or text file and make it available via ftp. Daniel Bush <dbush@teleport.com>
