Thanks for the sanity check, Art. When really pressed, he confessed to
having used onarchive. Obviously, there is no way ontape it going to
read that.
BTW, if I wanted to divert the ontape target on the fly (what's it doing
there anyway? ;-) I would set the TAPEDEV to be a file name that is
really symbolic link to anywhere I want it to be. Then I would have the
script reset the link to reference a tape device or a flat file, as I
please.
Somehow, I suspect you are no stranger to this technique. ;-)
