tbcheck: no output for some users

Hi -> I have encountered a strange situation with the tbcheck utility (and -> only tbcheck, the other tb* utilities are fine) that I would like to -> know if A thought: Even if you do strive for conformance, my immediate gut reaction was "sounds like people are in different groups" I'm probably wrong, but it's the only thought I can offer.
