I know nothing about DELPHI specifically but I do know that the sqlca is
not part of the ODBC standard API for databases. Thus, delphi knows
knothing ;) about it.
However, there is the dbinfo function you can use after the INSERT
statement.
insert into some-table values (0,...)
select unique dbinfo("sqlca.sqlerrd1") into my_var from systables
Actually, any table will be OK in the FROM clause. Since this is just
an ordinary database call any ODBC-compliant protocol will handle it.
