SQLCODE and ISAM errors

I have a problem with a program failing every time it runs. The sql error code is -264 ( Could not write to a temporary file. ) and the ISAM error is -100 ( duplicate value for a record with unique key ) The esql query is of the form "update table set col=value where current of cursor" It is not clear to me how these errors are related. My feeling was that you might reasonably get one or the other error but not both at the same time. can anyone shed any light on this? many thanks in advance Pete email: pete.smith@aethos.co.uk
