Dear Mike: I was given your name by Christine Shannon; Manager of the Worldwide User Group Program with Informix Software, Inc. She said that you could help me post a job offer for an Informix DBA. Any help you could provide me on this is greatly appreciated. My client is is in Bentonville, Arkansas and the requirement is as follows: Informix DBA with areas of knowledge in: O/S Concepts, Scripting, Networking, DBMS Concepts, Client/Server, Application Design, Application maintenance, Project Management, Training, SQL, Informix DBMS, Data Analysis, Data Modeling. The pay is based on skill, the client has not provided me with a minimum or maximum at this time. They do need someone quickly and it is a permanent position without sponsorship at this time. If you know of someone or wish to respond to this, please do so at lauryn@ecsjobs.com or 305-935-4268 Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you soon. That trick is as old as usenet. Besides, there seems to be a consensus that job postings are ok in comp.databases.informix so you don't need to hide.
