I >would appreciate anyones help on this. Hello Barry, same problem occurs last week as I setup the ODBC for SCO UNIX and Informix-SE 5.x. When I used the same name for host and server in setnet and configure the path to the database with the ODBC-Setup it works fine. For example: Setnet : host = myhostname server = myhostname ODBC : Database = /u/db/mydatabasename Entry in etc/hosts on UNIX : myipadress name I think its better to test the connection with MSQuery or something else, cause sometimes the ODBC-connection works but ilogin didn`t.
