Memory need - 4gl for MS-Windows

Memory need for 4GL-MS-Windows ? 21 Jun 1994 I have just received 4gl for Windows and installed it without any problems on a PC (Intel 486 CPU) with 8 Mbyte ram. If I on this machine have my tcp/ip program loaded, pstartsq (SE local backend) and in Windows are using 4gl for windows, things seems to work fine. In the development section I can start SQL (pisql) without problems, but if I generate a simple form in ISQL (pisql) and try to run this form it all freeze and I have to reset the machine. I do not know very much about PC's, but may I have a memory problem ? How much memory is actually needed, if I want to run 4gl for Windows and also be able to use PISQL or maybe also compile and run big 4gl applications ? Have you seen problems like this one where things freeze in 4gl for Windows ? Is 8 Mbyte ram the problem or ... My guess could be totally wrong.
