INFORMIX Training Courses - Query

Hi! We're about to upgrade to ODS 7.2x and Tools 6.05, and I'm planning training. I initially investigated courses available for a report to management last October, and the courses that seemed useful were: 1: INFORMIX-OnLine Dynamic Server System Administration 2: Managing and Optimizing INFORMIX-OnLine Dynamic Server Databases 3: INFORMIX-Oline Dynamic Server Performance Tuning 4: INFORMIX-OnLine Dynamic Server Internal Architecture and Advanced Administration Courses 1 and 2 were prerequisites for course 3, and course 1 plus six months experience were prerequisites for course 4. On looking at the INFORMIX website again this week, I noticed that course 2 doesn't appear in the course description under the Server Administration section, course names have been changed to reflect Operating System platforms (UNIX and WinNT) and of all the US training sites, only Denver has courses 1, 2 and 3 scheduled for successive weeks (beginning March 2nd). All the other training sites have either courses 1 and 2, with course 3 overlapping (so I can't attend all of them); or they just don't have course 2. I was originally planning to push for New York, but since October, they've cancelled course 2. So my questions is: 1: Do I need to attend all the above courses, or are courses 1, 3 and (perhaps) 4 enough? 2: Why has course 2's description been removed from the website, even though training sites have them clearly scheduled in the coming months? Is it being merged/renamed? 3: If courses 1 and 2 are prerequisites to course 3, why aren't they scheduled to run in successive weeks, so non-US citizens or out-of-state US citizens can save on travel/accomodation costs, not to mention valuable time, when they take these courses? As it is now, if I want to get this training done in time without throwing off my implementation schedule (by March), and at minimum cost, I have to pack my sunny disposition in my suitcase, leave my warm Caribbean island and travel to the freezing climes of Boston or Denver for two-three weeks, because other warmer East/Midwest training sites, like Tampa/Atlanta, have strange scheduling. I'd appreciate your views.
